Privacy Policy

We collect the information needed to run Inkhooks: account details from your sign-in provider (name, email, avatar), content you choose to post (books, covers, trailers, highlights, Notebook posts, Craft order materials), and basic usage data (pages viewed, actions like stars/reading status) to operate and improve the platform. How we use it: to run your account and the features you use, to process Craft orders, to show relevant content, and to detect abuse. We do not sell your personal data. Third parties: we use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Cloudflare for file/video storage and delivery, and may use Amazon Associates affiliate links and, if enabled, Google AdSense -- each governed by its own privacy practices. Manuscript files submitted for Craft orders are used solely to produce the ordered asset; see our Manuscript Confidentiality policy for details. Cookies and local storage: we use browser local storage for basic preferences like your light/dark theme choice -- not for third-party ad tracking beyond what AdSense itself sets when enabled. Your rights: you can review and edit your profile information at any time, and permanently delete your account and associated personal data from Account Settings ("Delete my account"). Some records (e.g. completed Craft order history required for accounting) may be retained as required by law even after account deletion.
